Stay connected with ParentSquare
The School District of Belleville uses ParentSquare as our primary platform for school communication. Families receive messages through email, app, voice, or text, helping everyone stay informed and involved.
An account is automatically created for each parent or guardian using the contact information in our student information system. We encourage you to activate your account to download the free mobile app, set your language preferences, and choose how and when you’d like to receive messages.
What you can do with ParentSquare:
- Receive updates from your school via email, app, or text notification
- Choose to get posts as they’re shared or bundled in a daily digest
- View posts, photos, calendars, and important announcements
- Communicate in your preferred language with automatic translation
- Comment on school posts and stay engaged with your school community
- Send direct messages to teachers and staff
- Participate in group conversations with other families
- Sign up for conferences and school events
- Fill out forms, sign permission slips, and view report cards—all in one place

No, but you may want to... without any further steps on your part, you will automatically begin to our notifications through text and email. However, if you complete your account setup and/or download the ParentSquare app, you will have a central point to receive communications.

You can do this from the web at www.parentsquare.com or through the ParentSquare app. Using either pathway, your account is connected to the email address we have on record in Skyward.
At the login screen, use the Register feature and add your email address and create a password. Alternatively, if your email on file is a Gmail account, you can use the Sign In with Google option. Once you’ve accessed your account, you’ll be asked to confirm your email address and phone number.

Similar to parents and guardians, students can access communications through StudentSquare, a feature of ParentSquare:
- Visit StudentSquare Sign-in
- Click "Sign in With Google" using your school email
You can also access StudentSquare through the app. Scan the appropriate QR code below to download the app.

Web: Login to your account and click the dropdown by your name and click My Account.
App: Tap the menu icon, tap Account and then Notifications. Under each Notification Type, toggle to Off, Instant or Digest (Summary at the end of the day).

ParentSquare is connected to Skyward. To update your email or phone number, please update this information in Family Access or contact your school's office. Note: updates made in Skyward will appear the next day in ParentSquare.
