Dear Belleville Community,

On behalf of the School District of Belleville, we would like to extend our gratitude for our community’s commitment to providing high-quality education for our students and for its trust and investment in our schools. The unofficial results indicate that the operational referendum passed.

With the approval of the operational referendum, we can now move forward with critical funding that will directly impact our students, staff, and families. These funds will be used to improve our safety and security, provide necessary staffing levels, and deliver competitive programming for families and compensation for staff. This will ensure that our schools remain safe, innovative, and prepared to meet the needs of each student.

We recognize that this was a significant decision for our community, and we appreciate the thoughtful discussions, engagement, and participation throughout this process. We invite you to stay engaged and informed as we work together to implement the referendum plan. Together, we are building a stronger future for our students and our community.

Sincerely,
Jim Schmitt, District Administrator
Katie Woehrle, President, Board of Education

Atentamente,
Jim Schmitt, administrador del distrito
Katie Woehrle, presidenta, Junta de Educación
